Department of Education Director Judy Jeffrey has summarized the actions taken by the 2008 Legislature that will affect school districts.In several cases, additional, detailed guidance will need to be issued to fully resolve questions around implementation of the statute.
As was the case last year, we will have to be patient as we work to effectively develop guidance and implement these new statutory provisions.
